The receptionist on Tuesday was extremely helpful when I popped in during our round-Australia trip for a dressing change. She squeezed me in the next day and had an efficient and friendly manner. The next day, a different receptionist was just as good and very helpful too. Then the lovely nurse changed the dressing and suggested we have flu jabs, which had just come in. CAUTION should be exercised with this clinic. They charged long consult fees (20+ minutes) even though the consultation with the GP was under 19 minutes (which was even confirmed by the secretary) and thus should have been charged as a standard consult. They even charge for phone consults, so if the doctor phones YOU (with no appointment mind you) to discuss your results and the call lasts for only 2 minutes, they can potentially charge you $49.60 or $60.20 for that call! I am an interstate traveller and needed to see a GP. The reception staff were courteous, polite and helpful. Advised costs prior to attending for my appointment. My consult was with Dr Preshena Prem who listened, offered explanations about treatment options, and organised follow up investigations. Came across as knowledgeable and very personable. Would highly recommend Dr Prem.
