We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the lake in late September and I honestly felt compelled to write a review because we were so pleasantly surprised. After reading a few mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect but our experience was nothing like what some of them describe. 5/9/25- BED BUGS. After walking into my room there was a strong smell of fly spray, which should’ve set off alarm bells but just assumed they might do it for mosquitoes before people checked in, turns out the room had bed bugs and it appears they thought a quick fly spray would suffice before renting out the room again, I called to tell them and the guy just responded with ahh yes ok, thank you I tell boss…. Booked apartment for river-fire and was told all 3 bed apartments overlook the story bridge. I also requested to overlook the bridge. We were allocated a room with no view at all. I rang and asked if there was another room and they said as I checked in late at 4pm that I couldn’t change rooms. They also advised that there was a change of ownership and they couldn’t accommodate my request. Rooms old and so many poor repairs. Even the furniture was deteriorated and had it.
