The Bridgewater apartments is a enormous building with some apartments viewing Eagle Street Riverside and Story bridge. Also some apparents has been renovated, and guest have unique stay. Experience of heaven, a luxury, extravagant. I stay a year ago, or so, in one of those renovated apartment, on riverside views.... Was paradise in heaven... I contracted spa pool folliculitis after using the hotel’s spa. This is an infection specifically linked to poorly sanitised spa pools. I required medical attention and antibiotic treatment. This is not only unacceptable, but indicative of serious lapses in hygiene and maintenance protocols. I contacted the hotel to inform them of the infection and to advise that their spa pool requires immediate disinfection to prevent further harm to guests. Apartment had a cockroach problem. Management knew before booking yet didnt seem to care. Avoid
We had stayed here before booking 3 apartments in the terraces overlooking the Story Bridge and Howard Smith Wharves. When I made this booking to celebrate my wife’s birthday I was assured of an apartment in the same area overlooking the Story Bridge. When I arrived I was made feel like I was an inconvenience. When I got to the room which was not in the location I had confirmed it was old, cold, dark and the carpets and bed were all worn out. Excellent place to stay. We arrived late on Sunday and had great service. Even helped us take our cases to our rooms. We were close to the ferry service and had great views. Had convenience store nearby and a plenty of eating places all walking distance. Great little hot pool to relax in as well as pool for grand kids to swim in. Rooms were tidy, just one issue with a bedroom door. Definitely will be back again. Cheers Dave Martin
