Amazing place. Always great advice. Not a huge shop, but he's always had everything I've ever needed in an emergency. He's usually a little cheaper than most others around the area, and his gear is quality made.

I really appreciate the knowledge and responsiveness of Glen. I bought a package last year and came back again this year for 2 nucs along with two complete langstroth setups. He was so helpful and thoughtful. It’s this level of service from small businesses that I just adore. I drive from Cottage Grove to work with them and I would absolutely do it again 🐝 Fantastic source for nuc/packages/queens/supplies.

I was gifted a partial hive. An incomplete set up, but a couple brood boxes, frames, and a few extras. I went in and filled out what was needed to complete the hive. I am a novice keeper and I SHOULD have more thoroughly inspected the gift. I found ash black and grey wax with dead brood and determined the gift was victim of AFB. They helped me finish the build to a full set up with no judgement or grief. I burned the old hive material.

Great pickup, well organized, line moved quickly. The NUCs proved to be in very good health, with plenty of food, lots of brood, and very well-developed comb. Both are very mild mannered, and handled both the trip home and installation very well. The containers used for them are made of plastic and will serve well as swarm traps. In short, I received happy, healthy, well-mannered bees at a better than a fair price in reusable containers that should serve me well. A great experience all around. Highly recommend.
