Absolutely love Dr. Akel! Her demeanor, knowledge and care is unparalleled.
I'm so incredibly disappointed with this office and Dr. Akel. I've been a patient of hers for at least 8 years or more and have been a patient at the office since I was a young child. I have always felt very well taken care there and by Dr Akel until the past year, specifically the past 6 months. This review is for her staff that answers the phone, not her. Beyond RUDE! Spoke with a woman that wouldn’t even let me get a word in. I got a referral from my primary, and they took a look at my chart and said I didn’t need to be seen. My LDL cholesterol was through the roof (284) but my triglycerides were low, my TSH was low, but my T3 and T4 levels were on the lower side.
