Admitted through the ED for chest pain and cannot say enough about the care teams at Bridgeport Hospital. Extremely proactive, thorough, and empathetic. Would recommend to anyone local
This place has the most amount of staff I have ever witnessed for an ER, yet 7 1/2 hours and nothing has been done. Here with my daughter in acute intense pain, a blocked Hickman feeding tube, with chest pain, nausea, abdominal tenderness. She’d rather go home to die!
Daughter came to hospital with chest pains had to wait 2 hours just be checked in and 3 hours to see the doctor

They are the absolute worst of the worst! This is not just from one experience. They are a part of Yale at this point, as is Milford Hospital, but the Bridgeport campus emergency room, is awful; from the receptionist, to the security, doctors, residents, and nurses. They will cause further trauma for mental health issues, and they cannot be trusted to properly evaluate medical conditions, on the physical level.
