Bridgeport Healthcare Center in Portsmouth Ohio could be a decent place. I don't think the owners of Communicare actually is aware of the poor management and non professional work ethics that this team conveys. The communication between frontline staff and senior management is very poor. They have a 76% turn over rate in the last 3 years when the national average is 56%. As a former employee, I do not recommend this facility to a potential resident nor would I seek employment here. The only positive aspect of this facility is the Therapy Department.

Awesome facility and people! Advanced Specialty Hospital did a wonderful job with our Son. He was there for nearly 3 weeks and received excellent attention on all his medical issues, wound care, and PT, and all the nurses, specialists, and aids were experienced and caring and exceeded our expectations. Even the Administration and staff were great! I would most certainly recommend Advanced Specialty Hospital of Toledo

My friend ended up in the hospital after his wife and me did a window visit. July 20, 2020. The hospital said he had boiling bed sores. Cradle cap. Sepsis. Tested positive for Covid. He ended up going to hospice and passing away 4 days later. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY ENEMY.. Before this happened. Food was terrible. They didn't clean patients after they ate. If you don't love your loved ones, and looking for a place to dump them, this is it. They can sit in a dirty diaper all day and urinate on the floor in peace here. When you apologize to the aide, they say it happens all the time. Drove by at 8pm, only 3 cars in the lot for a capacity of 135 people. No diabetic menu. Good luck trying to get them out if you do love them. I wouldn't even give this place one star. Horrible Carr terrible food and they abuse their patients. My opinion of course , but if you care about your loved ones stay far away from here.

Horrific place!!!! Please do not take anyone that you love to Wood Glen Alzheimer Community. My Aunt was released with the coronavirus from this place on October 25th and now she is in the hospital now fighting for her life. Please do not take anyone here if you love them.

The place is like to many of these places for the elderly and infirmed, where the bad definitely outweigh any of the good beneficial qualities. What I want to tell you about are the good and beneficial qualities within the facility. Some of the nursing staff and GNA'S are there because they have a genuine love for helping others and easing there pain. Nurses here are outstanding. My RN, Allison, was amazing to say the least. They are all over worked and under paid jmo.
