We had a sudden rudder seal leak and were very happy that Bridgeport Boatworks was able to help us out and get us back on our way. The technician team of Sean and Chris were terrific. Highly professional and efficient. I highly recommend Bridgeport Boatworks.
In August 2025 I brought my Lagoon sailing catamaran to Bridgeport Boatworks for a long list of service items. My boat was far from the largest or most expensive of the yachts at the yard and I wondered what kind of service I would get. Long time customer. I speak from experience. Bridgeport Boatworks is an excellent place to store and repair your boat. While they focus on larger 65’ + and commercial vessels, they don’t forget the little guy with a 40’. I ended up keeping my vessel in storage for three years because of an overseas assignment. They did a great job winterizing and shrink wrapping it twice in 3 years as I requested. In 2021, the first BBW manager failed to remove the drain plug after my vessel was shrink wrapped.
