My doctor, Dr. Patel, has failed to show up to my last two appointments. I can't speak highly enough about Gaelle (NP, the baddest in the game and great listener) but Dr. Patel's office does not answer calls, they have changed their vm to ask people to stop calling multiple times, and I'm in a crisis seeking help from my doctor to no avail. I was really excited when I was first referred over, but please, try to find another doctor who cares about your health, your time, and his own schedule.
Staff annd receptionists are always kind and my psychiatrist listens and provides me with the meds I need. Bridgepoint has helped me through the difficult transitory period of moving away from home for the first time and starting my new life.
My psychiatrist is amazing, however the front desk workers are allergic to answering the phone. They’re so quick to spam call you when you have a balance but when a patient calls or a pharmacy calls its radio silent. They can be pretty rude too, It shouldn’t be this hard to get ahold of them over the phone.
Dr Patel is brilliant and kind. There's not a lot of integrative psychs out there or clinics for that matter. I've met with everyone under the sun the last 30 years for my weird DP and he's been treasure hunter finding the root base of what is going on. Highly recommend if you're looking for more intregrative approach to treatment.
I haven't been at Bridgepoint very long but I really like the staff and their approachability. They've put me at ease and made me feel like my concerns on my mental health are valid.
