My dad stayed at BridgeHaven for almost a year, and we found their care and service to be incredibly helpful. Caring for a loved one with dementia is extremely challenging. While no facility can replace the care someone receives at home, that level of care is very difficult for a spouse or family member to sustain long term. After visiting several centers for my dad in town, we were looking for a homely and welcoming environment, and Bridge Haven truly stands out. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. The staff are respectful, kind, and genuinely caring. There is a good number of elderly participants who attend regularly, and they are kept active and engaged throughout the day. Very unprofessional place. I was told they don’t accept out-of-state licenses.After completing the application and returning as instructed, the supervisor suddenly said they change the pay on your orientation day. I felt treated unfairly and discriminated.

I'm writing this review because I read a review given by an ex coworker Sattera. She had just started working at Bridge Haven and 2 coworkers and I witnessed some issues that were not acceptable in a healthcare setting. We had to report this to our nursing team and Sattera became hostile, disrespectful and uncoachable. I want to say thank you to our DON Deana for addressing these issues and not overlooking them. Beautiful clean place. Take great care of residents. My thing is the way that the DON speaks to staff. Seems like staff are out to get each other. They try to point fingers and the DON just goes with it. Instead of being professional she try’s to speak to staff like she runs the world. She tried to talk to me like I was her child. I told her that that wasn’t how she speaks to people and she told me “Well I’m the DON”. I don’t give a damn if ur the president you don’t speak to ur staff that way.
