Charming historical cottage (2 independent cottages in one), very well located. Joanne is very friendly and helpful. One qualification though, do not forget your eye mask as there is no curtain/shutter in the Armoury cottage bedroom (unless you want to be up at 5am of course!).
This quaint historic cottage could be much improved by a furnishings update. The sofa in the TV room was well past its use by date, the bed was sunken and the bedside tables didn't work. The kitchen is well appointed and the water pressure was good. Note there are two sides to the cottage a and b. We stayed in b side.

Clean, roomy 3-room cottage with full kitchen, bath in the bathroom, laundry if needed, electric fan & wood heater.
Cottage was dusty. Silverfish in bed. Bed bugs in mattress. We got covered in bites. Smoke alarms hanging empty from ceiling. Vent in bathroom hanging from ceiling. Owner would not refund and was rude. Accused us of carrying the bed bugs in on our clothes and putting them in the bed! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
