TACOMA LOCATION IS THE WAY TO GO! Unfortunately shopping at the Seattle location just wasn't the experience our group was looking for. We were hoping for a warm, comfortable and inviting experience. Instead we felt like we were constantly being hovered over. Like being herded like cows. I am aware that they would like everyone in the party to stick together but when the store is basically empty and there is only one other girl trying on dresses; is it really that big of a deal if your party is looking for some other dresses ... read more

This was my first time ever shopping for a wedding dress and the gals at Brides for a Cause made it feel effortless. They had helpful tips and insights into styles and fits and were super encouraging while I tried to pick the perfect dress. I didn’t find one on my first try, but now I know what to look for and will come back in a few months to try again with a rotated selection. I did find a gorgeous train attachment that should go perfectly with whatever I choose.

Got my wedding dress here! I had a lovely experience and enjoyed the self serve style of shopping so that I felt less pressure. I tried on 3 or 4 and decided on this one. They hold dresses for 24 hours, but I called back after a week and they still had it in so I was able to purchase. The dress was ~$700 after tax, down from about $1500 retail. They also have a nice collection of accessories and shoes which I took advantage of.

I just bought my wedding dress here, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were so helpful and accommodated our group (which included my mom in her wheelchair) amazingly well. It was nice to be able to choose dresses to try on, and the shop has a great selection. I ended up buying two dresses and a belt for less than the lowest prices at many of the traditional boutiques in the area.
