I hate writing negative reviews for small businesses but Bridal Fantasy owes my business money and instead of responding to any follow up emails or DMs they blatantly ignore us. Reading through the reviews it looks like a lot of other businesses are in the same situation as us unfortunately. This payment has been outstanding since February 2024.
I’m sharing this review- in hopes that vendors and sponsors will see this and not give their hard earned money to an absolutely HORRIBLE company. The CEO needs to retire and move on. Her practices are unprofessional, unethical, and outdated. All of her employees leave within a few months once they realize they are being lied to. The owner refuses to pay over time pay, or follow the law in general. She buries her head in her phone and tells everyone she is dating a celebrity meanwhile she is being scammed. I've struggled for a long time about doing an honest review, but it's time for the flood gates to open. I hope this helps other wedding vendors and readers/attendees know to stay away!! Gay Derk is honestly the most difficult person I ever worked with. I was a respected and accomplished wedding planner for 17 years, and my interactions with Bridal Fantasy were always a let down.
