If you have loved ones here...please check on them. The things this place did to my actively dying father were obscene. And we got plenty of pictures. And the State of Indiana was notified and they did go there and find bad things. He was hospice and actively dying barely coherent yet they forced him to eat food and take pills (because none of their staff can read a chart and the nurses are capable of critically thinking..yes the VNA hospice was aware and trying to help us. This place is an absolute severly outdated facility. This place should be absolutely be shut down. My mother got the the worst care ever. Being constantly ignored. Food so nasty you could not even eat it. There for rehabilitation for her broken back, and got no physical therapy. Every aid or nurse had no answers to my questions. Nobody knows what's going on there. Research this place yourself go on a tour, you will see your dog wouldn't be safe or happy there. We just took our mom out of this hole after a week. She has a broken back with no need for surgery but she did need physical therapy, which she did not get. Every time I asked nobody could tell me anything. She laid in bed for over 30 minutes yelling for and aid or a nurse because her bed adjuster and call button fell. I had to call the building to have them go help her. If you hate your family this is definitely the place to leave them.

The building is old, could use updating. The people that work there are wonderful! They really do cate about their clients! My mom has been there almost 2 yrs in the memory care unit. I receive calls whenever they notice changes in her behavior, gets a bruise, change meds. When she started declining every nurse and aide made a point of stopping & telling me about her change & they knew this just wasn’t normal for her. It came on fast & seemed drastically different .
