A lovely day out with plenty to discover. The brick museum is really interesting, with lots of unexpected things to see. The caf� serves tasty food cooked to order and is a nice place to stop for lunch. There’s also a little train you can ride, with a free trip included if you add Gift Aid. Well worth a visit!
The new owners since June offer great value and service 👏 👌
Unfortunately I was unaware that the cafe closed at 3pm and decided to see if I could get my family some cake and tea after the tour we had at the museum, only to be met with a incredibly rude woman who scowled at me, and barked were closed and slammed the door shut.. disgusting behaviour.
I think I’ll starve next time.
