Jake Naszimento, the executive director, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I simply asked for a vacant apartment list (which most counties have) and he just said, "We don't have one, we don't help you with that." Uh, you're the housing authority. You're supposed to help out people with housing. I even said, I'm aware housing doesn't find us apartments, but every other county at least has a list! Absolutely useless! Try to be more helpful and polite next time.

Signed the lease to a unit with the landlord and the housing authority in the office told me I couldn't afford it, even though the landlord thought otherwise! I know this housing office is trying to place certain minorities I'm specific areas they want, and I reported it to Trenton. The unit was affordable and in a nice area but the housing authority wouldn't accept that a minority was able to rent the unit, she probably put a family member or friend in the unit! Smh...corrupt!!!

I love having my own apartment. It's big and decorated the way I want. Some people are very friendly others not so much. I'm on the 3rd floor. With a beautiful nice view. I'm happy here. Very affordable.

There's nothing for ocean county because they allow people to hogg the program for life thank you ocean county
