We’re a vegan group staying overnight at the legoland hotel - 3 adults and 2 kiddos. We came down to Bricks for breakfast and the chef noticed me asking him about all the ingredients in each of the buffet items. He then offered to make us a platter of vegan pancakes and delivered them to us in such a beautiful presentation topped with fresh berries. Thank you Chef Juan, we are SO grateful!!
Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, poor quality for the price point. I’m happy to spend on a good meal, but here the cost simply wasn’t justified by what was delivered. I’d strongly suggest exploring dining options outside the hotel in Carlsbad for a much better experience.
Food was not good. Almost every entree is too spicy that it hides the real taste of the food. The chocolate cake is the only thing I enjoyed.
Omg the dinner food is so bad and its going to cost you almost 200 bucks for 5 people. Just go in town and eat . Ugh it's really bad food . The amount of time we had to spit out food into napkins was insane.
We ended our first day at the resort with a supper buffet. They had a carving station with a couple meat options, they also had pizza, tator tots, and other foods that our son liked. With your stay you also get breakfast in the morning included. The breakfast buffet also had a lot of options that often was a balance between what kids like and what the parents like.
