As an annual visitor to Tassie i am always trying to find a mini adventure before hopping on the boat to travel back to the mainland. This is one of my favourite overnight stays. An historic homestead surrounded by animals. The staff are relaxed and welcoming. We always stay for a few extra hours to join in with the morning feeding routine for the animals which always includes a few calves and lambs needing a bit of extra help. It is such a lovely spot. A beautiful farm to visit with the kids or just enjoy the history.
We stayed in one of the cottages. It was really nice!
An interesting UNESCO site displaying convict built structures, plus the family history around the farm make it a very interesting site to visit Well worth the visit
