The first location was set up in the east Village in New York city in 2002 surrounded by the Bangladeshi restaurants like Bangla Town/ Brick lane in London. Brick lane has been serving authentic curries to their patrons for the past 16 years. The Ridge wood location was initially set up in 2010, then closed in 2016 but its been reopened now in 2018.

I just returned from the buffet. I want to say that the service was spectacular, the wait staff was attentive and asked me if I needed anything. Their level of courtesy is beyond comparison. The food was good but it was room temperature which I understand is not too easy to control when it is out buffet style. I would like to see some Paneer and/or Tandoori dishes as part of the buffet.
