Come romance and/or relax in one of our four rooms with private baths and KING beds. One room is a suite with a living room and a bedroom. ONSITE innkeepers offer FULL SERVICE gourmet breakfasts. Location to the MO River and Downtown is three blocks. A hot tub, fire pit, classic car display, 200 year old pecan trees, off street parking, spacious patio, are features of the 1911 ancestral home. Absolutely the best experience possible. The folks were friendly and cared for our needs. Their home is beautiful inside and out. Breakfast each morning was exactly what we desired and tasty. The town is growing quickly with an old-time charm. We walked over 33k steps in two days. We biked 32 miles on the Katy Trail. The weather was perfect as well, we simply lucked out. If you like charm and quirky fun, I highly recommend this place as we plan to return many times in the future. Peace!
This Bed & Breakfast was awesome. Art and Kathy were amazing Hosts. The room was very cozy. The bed was super comfy. There was coffee and tea waiting for us outside our room every morning. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Art even took us on a 10 minute tour, in his car, of downtown Washington. I’m definitely booking this place again when we come back to Washington, MO.
Paul and I have just returned from an enjoyable weekend stay in the Duke and Duchess Suite at The Brick Inn Bed and Breakfast. Art and Kathy are such gracious hosts--Kathy's delicious breakfast recipes, along with fruit cups containing 11 different fruits, are wonderful morning greetings...and Art's adventures in photos on poster boards are not only interesting to see and talk about, but always seem to teach you something new. Thank you Art and Kathy for showing such interest in us as your guests starting w your auto tour just after check-in, walk-about your gardens, garage, and property. Both of our breakfasts were outstandingly prepared, tasted vantastic and served along with Art's poster-board documentaries of local Washington, MO history and visits to neighboring state attractions. Your willingness to spend time with your guests, and your enthusiasm for Washington, MO was refreshing.
