I went there for a friend's comedy show. The walk up was well lit. Brick itself is tucked in the middle of Blue Star, but still easily accessible. The place itself is inviting and warm. The house band, Cicada, is really good. They'll go far, I'm sure. Brick hosts all kind of small events. The bartenders and manager are professional and nice.
