I wouldn't recommend Briarcliff to anyone. It horrifies me the way the patients are treated there. Nurses dont do their job while patients are unattended they fall, have seizures, call lights constantly going off and being ignored. The state needs to do something about this facility because the way the elderly are treated there is not only abuse it is inhumane.
This place should not even be open. The second shift nurse should retire. No compassion. Horrible people.
This place is a joke. I wouldn't even allow you to take care of my animals. I will,not reccomend you to anyone because you don't know how to take care of people at all. How sad is it when a resident is cared for better by a therapist than the nursing staff? The staff is more worried about sitting at the nurses station and gossiping. Maybe you should re-evaluate your facility.
