A lovely location with many places to visit. After a log day of walks, we returned to our cozy room to escape the world.
My teenage daughter and I were looking for a quick, last minute long weekend getaway to the Middleburg area and we booked two nights at the Briar Patch. We arrived travel weary after a long drive and Dan was so kind! This is the kind of place you come to to feel safe and cared for and unplug and unwind. The setting is beautiful and as horse farmers we felt instantly at home. We stayed here for a wedding we were attending. It's a great spot to house a bunch of people and the rooms were a good size with multiple bathrooms to chose from. However the fridge in the main house could use a major deep clean and I woke up in the morning with a rash from the bedding that did not go away for several days after leaving the property. Would definitely recommend bringing your own sheets and pillowcases if you're staying here.
My now-husband and I had our wedding at Briar Patch in June and it was awesome!! Ellen, Dan, and Doron were all great to work with. They are easy going, flexible, and listened to us. We loved being able to have a full weekend celebration at the B&B— the grounds of Briar Patch are beautiful and the Inn is clean and cozy. The cherry on top was hanging out by the pool and hot tub with our friends and family after our wedding reception!!
I went with my extended family (5 adults and two young kids) and we stayed for five nights. We had a really great time! The breakfast was really good and the area is so beautiful. They have lots of wildflowers and butterflies. Even our little dog had a great time!
