I have to say, I have never met a more empathetic, down-to-earth doctor with such extensive knowledge of perimenopause in my 48 years. Dr. Romeroso is simply phenomenal. She will listen to you, be patient and answer any questions or concerns you may have, and offer real, working solutions. Some doctors just go through the motions, but Dr. Romeroso truly cares about her patients - you can feel it during your time with her. I must say, Dr. Romeroso has been one of a very few, if not just two, doctors in my entire experience who takes actual time and care during my evaluations. So much so, she explained test finding from a hospital visit that the hospital failed to discuss. She is direct, but caring. Conversational yet down to business. I appreciate that. It does take a while for an appointment but it is worth the quality of care administered and received.

Unfortunately, there are many cons: 1. Very impatient, zero empathy doctor who has zero bedside manners. 2. Long wait times in the office. Your time is not valued. 3. Their billing office will haunt you down for money, but will refuse to refund when it’s appropriate. The way they set up their appointment codes seems very wrong. You’ll get up charged for appointments you didn’t even have, or charge the wrong (more, of course) for visits because they’re coded wrong. 4. Very detailed and thorough during appointments. Absolutely awful procedure experience w her and ucla in general. Zero follow up post surgery despite several calls, inaccurate information and directions from her nurse, completely wrong dosage on a prescription (with no explanation as to why it was prescribed in the first place). Cannot recommend. They’ll follow up w bills though - several each for every office, facility and doctor.
