If I could give Dr. Cook zero stars I would. In January of 2023 he performed laparoscopic surgery to try to identify what was causing my extreme pelvic pains. After only 20 minutes of looking around he closed me up. He told my loved ones waiting for me that he couldn’t find anything that would be causing my pelvic pains & suggested I was psychosomatic. He delivered both of my kids he didn't listen to anything myself or my husband said to him. He has 0 empathy and acts like he doesn't care about his job. Both my kids were premies and he didn't care about me being nervous and when I told him with my youngest I didn't want the medicine that slows labor down because it made me severely sick and made me puke horribly and made my middle child come faster he still had his nurse give it to me and my youngest was born not even 20 mins later He should not be a doctor in my opinion. ... read more

Is not sympathetic at all. As I was going through a horrific experience he had no compassion or empathy and wanted to argue with me over a pamphlet that he said he hadn't reviewed in 5 to 10 years so he has no idea what IU Health is handing out to his patients. 10/10 don't recommend.
I have been a patient of Dr. Cook's for 9 years, and he is without question the best doctor I have ever had. He delivered my son a few years ago and he has been a wonderful steward of my care over the years. He is extremely intelligent and compassionate and I completely trust him with every facet of my health. I highly recommend this doctor!
