Dr. Scofield was recommended to me after a year of dealing with a misdiagnosis and pain from Dr. Schur in Port Charlotte. Dr. Scofield easily explained what the actual problem was with my right shoulder and that although I was much younger than a typical patient needing a shoulder replacement it was my best option. Dr Schofield replaced a shoulder that was badly damaged in a fall. I was given fast, excellent care from the first visit to a very efficient office through surgery and subsequent follow-up. Highly recommended!
Miss diagnosed me. Told me I had a Labrum tear get an MRI years later find out my labrum is untouched and have a supraspinatus tear. Absolute garbage. Pardon my language, but to my experience he’s a dipsh*t.
Excellent result and excellent office. I was very pleased with every aspect of this experience. The Doc was clear in his explanations, answered all questions, and I had a terrific result. Not least, his office is extremely well run; I never had to wait more than a few minutes. So refreshing!
Dr. Schofield is one of the best shoulder men in town and likely the country. Personable-experienced, and easy to work with. I've had two shoulder Ops from him in the past 14 yrs and outcome is great. If you're looking for a good surgeon who knows what he is doing and does it extremely well--this is your man. He's worth the wait, as he is very busy and heavily booked. It will be worth the wait.
Excellent orthopedic surgeon!! He is a wonderful surgeon as well as being personable. I went to other surgeons for a consultation but decided on Dr. Schofield because of numerous referrals of excellence!! I would choose no other!!

I have been seeing Dr Scofield for over 5 years for a workers comp injury. He is one of the best orthopedics I have dealt with in 40 years. Excellent bedside Manor and an excellent staff.
