What an awful experience . As an uninsured person I used him when I had a urinary tract infection last year which he prescribed medication for and it was treated. He put me on some permanent medication which needed to be refilled. In order to do this I needed a yearly blood draw which was fine. But the office likes to add ancilary costs to the bill by having a $150 - 30 second abdomen scan done which I politely declined upon the visit this week. Dr. Gerber, was patient, kind, understanding, and SUPER informative about men’s health and went over my results while breaking down every detail to help me understand. So glad I was referred to him by a friend.
Was referred to this doctor by another physician and due to the extreme office incompetence I never made it to the office. Order was never called into the hospital and the appointment that was made a month in advance was not put on their schedule. Proceed with caution!
Dr. Gerber is a very inpatient man. He has no sympathy for his patients. He does not care to listen and address any question. He answers questions he wants to answer, and they he is still very rude and dismisses you as a person. I would not recommend him to anyone who is looking for this type of specialist.
