My experience with Dr. Pottorf was amazing. I came to him originally with right sided groin pain. He diagnosed me with a right inguinal hernia. He explained everything to me thoroughly: options for robotic surgery, open surgery, post op outcomes, etc. Surgery day came before I was even mentally ready and he talked to me in preop making me feel better. I’m post surgery now feeling great, so thank thankfully to Dr. Pottorf and everyone in his amazing group! I could not recommend anyone more than Dr. Pottorf!
I highly recommend going to Dr. Brian Pottorf for any General Surgery needs. I had went to Dr. Pottorf after I had tons of pain coming from my abdomen area in which made me feel limited to how much I can eat or drink on a DAILY BASIS. When I went to Dr. Pottorf to find help, he diagnosed my gallbladder pretty quickly and on the first visit he scheduled me for my surgery. Today it is September 3rd, and I am able to eat and drink without the pain. 10/10 recommendation for Dr. Pottorf.
Dr. Pottorf was very understanding about my pre-surgery apprehensions and helped set my mind at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and my complex surgery went well. His nurse Andrea is great as well.

Dr. Pottorf was incredible during an extremely difficult time for our family. My elderly mother unexpectedly needed a very extensive surgery, including a colostomy, and we could not have asked for a better surgeon. He was thorough, patient, compassionate, and kept our family informed every step of the way.
