I cannot recommend Dr. McKenna enough. He is thorough, compassionate and clear. He explained my procedure to me and walked me through it step by step as he did it. He has called me on off hours to discuss test results and the next suggested course of action. Even though his office is not local to me, I take the drive knowing I am receiving the best care possible. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring professional, Dr. McKenna is the doctor for you.
Dr. McKenna just delivered my second baby at Peconic Bay Medical Center! Dr. McKenna is meant to be a physician and surgeon- his expertise and experience puts you at immediate ease. Not only did he deliver my healthy baby girl, but he fixed my previous c - section scar from my first delivery that was done by a different physician/different hospital. I can’t say how thankful I am that I found Dr. McKenna. He did surgery on me in July and from the very first visit to my last he was beyond kind, compassionate and amazing!! He takes his time with you, you never feel rushed. I usually see female Dr’s but found him and he instantly put me at ease. If you need a Dr in this field, he is the one to see!!!!! One of the best doctors I’ve ever been to. He takes the time to listen and never rushes you out of the office. He treats you like an individual and remembers you. I highly recommend him to anyone with anxiety about ob/gyn appointments. You won’t regret seeing him. His office staff is just as amazing
