This is a nearly 30 year overdue review. I had a high risk pregnancy and the maternal fetal medicine specialist recommended that I terminate my pregnancy. I wasn’t interested in doing that and Dr. McKenna supported my decision. That decision wasn’t without struggles. Everything that could go wrong, did. But we got through it. I cannot recommend Dr. McKenna enough. He is thorough, compassionate and clear. He explained my procedure to me and walked me through it step by step as he did it. He has called me on off hours to discuss test results and the next suggested course of action. Even though his office is not local to me, I take the drive knowing I am receiving the best care possible. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring professional, Dr. McKenna is the doctor for you.
Dr. McKenna just delivered my second baby at Peconic Bay Medical Center! Dr. McKenna is meant to be a physician and surgeon- his expertise and experience puts you at immediate ease. Not only did he deliver my healthy baby girl, but he fixed my previous c - section scar from my first delivery that was done by a different physician/different hospital.
