He is a very knowledgeable, skilled surgeon and a very fine person. I am glad he is my surgeon. My perspective comes as a cancer survivor. Dr D is awesome. There is no doubt he cares about me and my needs. He’s patient, caring and an artist. I can’t imagine being in better hands. I feel blessed to have been referred to him.
Incredible surgeon and extremely dedicated to his patients. Dr. Dickinson performed a very complex and very large incisional hernia repair on my husband recently. The surgery took 4 hours with a co-surgeon at Hoag followed by 4 days in the hospital. Dr. D stopped by each morning to change the dressing himself and sometimes stopped by at night. He practically sleeps at the hospital and it's obvious he truly cares about his work and his patients.
It’s been almost 5 years since my hernia repair and abdominal reconstruction. Dr. Harris did my hernia repair and Dr. Dickinson did the abdominal reconstruction and they were a dream team!! Both are very caring and skilled surgeons who actually cared about me as an individual! I recommend Dr. Dickinson and Dr. Harris without hesitation! I’m very pleased with my results!
Dr Dickinson is probably the best surgeon I’ve ever dealt with. His bedside manner is simply second to none. This Dr came in late at night to perform emergency surgery on my breasts following a MRSA infection I received at The Mayo Clinic. Dr Dickinson literally saved my life because the infection was so bad. I am currently under his care for breast reconstruction using the DIEP flap method.
