Most importantly, Dr. Campolattaro is the best eye doctor I have ever had. I am 35 years old and have had about 10 eye surgeries so far in my life. I was born almost blind and have very very weak eye muscles. I have done all the surgeries, eye patch exercises, eye therapy, you name it. While Dr. McCord is an excellent doctor, the experience with the front office was very disappointing. I started calling at 8 AM and spent nearly an hour trying to reach someone. When I finally got through around 9 AM, there was no apology—just a comment that Monday mornings are busy. I was then put on hold for another 15 minutes to confirm the appointment. He's an amazing doctor . Has alot of experience with dealing with vision impaired children letting them know everything is going to be alright and taking the time during the visit to listen to what the child and parent concerns are. It's very hard to find a doctor that has a heart and is well seasoned in the pediatric ophthalmology field.
Amazing doctor. Both me and my son had surgery with him. I don't know why I waited 3 years after my son's surgery to have mine. Great experience.
