Oh my word I had an appointment with Dr Maddox and I have the appointment Time on my phone specifically 9:30 and I was en route to the appointment today( keep in mind I have severe Crohn's disease) and his nurse or staff called me and said he would not be able to see me at all. The 30 minutes drive there o had to turn around. This may call for a lawsuit since it's called Dr abandonment. With all of my health issues and I get notification that my appointment is at 930. Wow. Has not been helpful. My medication is out of stock and instead of trying to get in contact with me, the nurse calls at 4:55 and hangs up on me so when I try to call back I get an automatic message telling me the office is close. I would appreciate if the nurse would leave a voice mail. I work. I can't always answer my phone. Has not left one voice-mail with me. Now I'm trying to call at 9:10. The office opens at 9 but still getting automatic message saying office is closed.
Dr. Maddox is the best. He listens and responds to my concerns without making me fell A) as if I'm totally ignorant or B) that I'm going to die tomorrow! He has a great bed side manor that puts me at ease and he speaks with confidence when discussing treatment options. Highly recommend, I'm glad I found him!
