Brian Walsh of Walsh Banks Law handled a real estate closing via their title company. Brian never received a proper payoff for the mortgage on the property. He proceeded to close the sale without receiving a payoff. My client who paid cash for the real estate had a 1.5 miilion dollar lien on the property from the previous owner. Brian notified us about 6 weeks after closing and said to tell us. He never responded why he closed and recorded transaction without a payoff from the bank.
