I recently moved to Florida due to a combination of autoimmune diseases that don't allow me to live in cold climates. As a complicated patient of the Cleveland Clinic, it can be difficult to find excellent health care providers who are willing to work with me (as a complicated patient), as well as the Cleveland Clinic (as my extreme specialists, given my illnesses). I met Dr. Lake once. He seemed okay and I have no complaints about him. The problem, as usual, is the staff. I called and left a message to r/s my same day appt. I gave the office at least 4 hours notice. The office billed me $35 and refused to see me unless I paid the $35. Apparently, because life doesn't happen, they require 24 hours notice. I am a new patient to this practice and I couldn't be more impressed. On my first visit doctor lake.Listen to my concerns and addressed each of them and discussed new options for care. Today I saw Kimberly, the nurse practitioner, and she also answered all of my questions and discussed potential changes. This is the best controlled my diabetes has been since I was diagnosed. I would definitely recommend this practice.
Dr. Dmitry Grebenev M.D. is a qualified endocrinologist who has exceptional abilities. I strongly recommend.
