I had total left hip replacement surgery 6 weeks ago. Would highly recommend Dr. Van Flandern (frontal anterior) and his staff. The follow up visit with Brian Johnson NP was very different though. The visit was very brief and I felt rushed. He didn't seem to want to answer the questions that I had. It wasn't my fault that he was 1 hour late for my appointment. Though overall; all of my concerns were addressed and he seemed pleased with my progress. I hope the next follow up appointment goes better.
Had a knee replacement surgery in March 2026. The entire procedure has been very smooth and positive. My surgery went really well; response from the NP Brian was efficient. The entire experience has been superior. Thanks a lot to both Brian and Dr. Van flandern. Now I walk normal with no pain at all.
After having a total knee replacement I had a lot of questions. Brian clearly and thoroughly answered all of them when I sent him messages in the portal. In person, he was just a thorough and answered each and every one with kindness. I left feeling confident I knew what to do moving forward to regain my mobility. I highly recommend BBJI !
I feel like I made an excellent decision choosing Brian as my hip caregiver. He confidently explained my xrays and described in detail likely symptoms, which coincided with exactly what I was feeling. Long-term (or short-term), I will need a hip replacement. My immediate concern was the discomfort I was feeling, which Brian treated with a cortisone shot. Currently, only days later, I feel like a new man. Im not looking forward to another surgery, but im confident in the care im receiving until I decide to take the plunge.
My knee replacement went super. No complications, full range of motion, and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Thank you Brian!
