My insurance changed and due to this I needed a referral letter to see another specialist that would take my new insurance. I left messages at the office and emails on their app to Dr Welch and he kept saying that the new doctor I chose is in not in network. He continued this email with me going back and forth that I have proof they are in network but refused till NOW. I filed a complaint against him for not proving me with what I asked. I'm not sure if it's Dr Welch's staff or Baylor Scott White that's inept, but I found out after receiving a collections email that my account was past due even though I have always paid my bills online as they are received. Turns out my physical address, even though correct on my patient profile, was incorrect on my statements. Dramatically incorrect. So I have not been receiving them. Since 2022! ZERO RATING!! I had waited 3 months, appointment on 9/16/25 at 10:05 am to see Dr. Welch, that is who my appt was scheduled to see. My blood sugar was ranging between 40 - 400 and I did not know how to regulate it and I was having many issues. I filled out all the necessary paperwork online on Friday, 9/12/25. That was when I noticed my appt was switched to a Nurse Practioner, Nargiza Aliev. I called to find out why and I would not see her.
