Avoid this hotel – and consider skipping Brian Head entirely. This was by far the worst hotel service I have ever experienced. We specifically chose this property in the small mountain town of Brian Head because it offered an on-site restaurant, assuming it would provide a convenient dining option after a long day outdoors. That assumption proved to be a serious mistake. The restaurant was roughly 75% empty, yet we were informed of a 1.5-hour wait for a table. Brenna gave a fantastic lesson to our six year old who had her first ski experience. She was very patient and great with kids. Would highly recommend for beginners!
They charged me $230 with tax for a lift ticket. Definitely not worth it for a ski area with 7 lifts and a 13 inch base.

I arranged a private skiing lesson for my grandson and we were assigned Spencer C. We had tried to get Elle, our granddaughter's instructor from last year, but she was unavailable. It turns out that Spencer was just as great for our grandson as Elle had been for our granddaughter. We are 2 for 2 in Brian Head instructors. I would recommend the resort in general for instruction, and Spencer and Elle in particular if they are available.
