We've been seeing Dr. Barkley for 8 years now, and we could not ask for a better or more understanding doctor. He's great! He doesn't make you feel rushed, and he actually takes his time to ask questions about what is going on with our child. He also makes sure to answer any questions we might have.
It breaks my heart to know that we will have to change providers, we absolutely loved Brian Barkley. After having private insurance through a previous job for 15 years and getting laid off now having to use Medicaid we’re told they will no longer accept it and now have to look for a different provider. I hope we find someone as good as him.
Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Pediatric Clinic is a great and I highly recommend. The doctors are so caring for their patients and each one of them is personal. I am grateful for Baylor Scott and White and the wonderful care they provide.
The front desk/scheduling is a frequent mess. One person told me nothing is available for months, so I scheduled for months out. I asked to be on a waitlist, which I am fairly certain does not actually exist or is at best very disorganized. Then, I got a message in the app a few days later saying my son needed to come in for a well check and there were many openings soon.
