Dr Parmenter was the physician for my mother in the ER (UTI)and admitted her. Dr Parmenter gave her medicine that should NOT be given to someone with CKD. Within a week, she has gone from 77 to mentally a 2-4 year old. She no longer recognizes the kids, she is unable to hold a conversation. Our Mom is mentally gone, because he did not pay attention to the labels on the medicine that says do not give to patients with CKD. Which it says all over the internet. I've never rated a doctor before, nonetheless, I have never endured such a negative, demeaning, horrific hospitalist before. He never listened to any of my concerns. I was interrupted every time I attempted to speak requarding my symptoms. He was rude, demeaning, belittling, arrogant and unteachable I went in the hospital with a bowel obstruction, yet because he could not see it, he refused to believe me.
