Meeting Dr Lau and the subsequent surgeries were the worst decisions I have made in my life. Staying with my physically, psychologically, and emotionally abusive ex for as long as I did was a much better idea. At least I could get better after those. I am immeasurably worse now and it’s been over 5 months since my surgery. I’m now going to a neurologist bc of my severe pain. I can’t sit, stand, walk, or even exist without severe pain.
