I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Burkey as he recently assisted with my cervical fusion surgery. My neurosurgeon had recommended Dr. Burkey to assist with my procedure due to the fact that they were going to operate through my neck, and Dr. Burkey has many years of experience with such surgeries. Dr. Brian Burkey is the best head and neck surgeon. He listens to your concerns and answers questions. He is a kind and passionate Dr. and very compassionate about his patients and his work. Dr. Brian Burkey is an excellent surgeon. He truly cares about his patients. I had parathyroid surgery and he did all the needed tests to confirm it was necessary. He'll answer any question you have. I should have written this review a while ago and apologize for not doing so sooner. Dr. Burkey is absolutely fantastic. He performed a 5 1/2 hour surgery on a cancerous tumor in my neck last December. I was out the hospital the next day and up and about that weekend. The surgery was a complete success. My wife and I believe that Dr. Burkey is an incredible surgeon. Extremely helpful in explaining everything in laymen terms.
