He found an AVM no one would have.
He has no empathy for someone dealing with a severe Trigeminal neuralgia attack . He and staff are rude. He was treating my husband and was hard to reach. I was scheduled with him also and canceled my appointment
He stopped listening to me the minute I said my sister had migraines. Blew off my actual neurological disease saying it must be migraines then. This is despite a confirmed diagnosis from another neurologist and an optic neurologist, an MRI and a lumbar puncture confirming my disease. He even wrote that it probably wasn't my disease, but was migraines in my records. I never went back and was glad when he left the practice.
I am very pleased with the care I am getting from Dr. Averell.
Spent less than 5 minutes with me and said I needed to go to a teaching hospital because no one will be able to help me around here...
Always gave great care and concerning advice. Really upset he is gone from Wilmington Health I want to find him.
