Dr Brian Pederson @ UCSD, I have gone to him for several years. I got cortisone shots in areas where I am sore from which he said I have Arthritis. So, the shots are right arm, both hips. It took 4-6 month to get an appt, so I was pretty severe by then. The shots helped a little but nothing life changing. Absolutely the most frustrating doctor I’ve ever dealt with. Incredibly knowledgable and seems like a good person but multiple times has put me through an excruciating process at the VA that made me suffer with a lot of unnecessary extreme pain from arthritis. He refuses to refill my prescriptions when I need them which leads to delays, pain and suffering. I really like this Dr. I was newly diagnosed as having Lupus SLE with Schrogens disease. He's smart he's caring and while there isn't much to be done for this condition, Dr. Pedersen did what he could. He told me what to avoid specifically sunlight he started me on plaquenil generic hrdroxychloriquine. I like him a lot.
