Dr McMurtry is very known in the community for tongue/lip ties. He saw my 6 week old for her tongue/lip tie and although the procedure was quick, there has been no improvement to her latch and the post operation stretches were quite traumatic to perform every 5 hours to say the least. I highly recommend doing research on the booming business of tongue tie revisions. There is a published NY times articles about it written this year. Dr. McMurtry has seen all 3 of my babies for ties. He took his time answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable. And he let me come back as many times as I needed to feel confident that healing and stretching were going well. If I’m ever blessed with another baby, I wouldn’t see anyone else.
