I spent over 5K on a shingle IKON shingle roof with 100% water and ice barrier October of 2016. I had a leak and they did come out and shovel around the soil stack. They proceeded to say to my wife that "I had to get up there and shovel the roof to keep it from leaking!" Then said to her I should have gotten a metal roof system. They installed a metal roof 5 years ago, and after a year, we noticed some leaking around the chimney flashing. They came out immediatly and fixed the leak (with no charge). We just had them install a rolled roofing over our flat roof. Quick work, and great cleanup.
