doesn't get better with age This longer-than-wide bar does boast a great variety of drinks, as well as the city's best bartender, as voted by the Illinois Times magazine many years in a row. After not going there for a long period of time, I was disappointed to find that the bar still has that same odor- like they are way overdue for changing that carpet out! PROS: great bartender CONS: terrible smell of beer mixed with last nights drinks on the floor
no food but lots of beer it was quiet early on a saturday when i visited. bartender was friendly and knowledgable and the beer selection was top notch. there is no food but you can order an ok sandwich from a take out place and it doesnt take too long to get there, there is also the free popcorn to tide you over.

I love this bar, so Mike Parkes is the best bartender ever and Nate takes a very close second, you can oder over 50 beers and you can throw them a variety of different drinks and WOW there you are. Brewhaus offers you killer salsa, too many beers to choose from and the best Mixoligist's this side of the Midwest can offer. Yum, yum and yum.
Second runner-up last year, but I think it's the best! I love breakfast & a bloody mary (I work nights). Best bartenders in town, too.
