A good public house in the outback Back of Bourke , beyond the Black Stump at Coolah
I arrived in Brewarrina the day before a holiday. I asked where I could have breakfast and dinner. Brewarrina Hotel wasn't mentioned. Anywhere. To my surprise, it was open when everything else was closed. I had a big country breakfast at the cafe which sports a a very old faded sign. GREAT COUNTRY TUCKER CAFE. And it was!! OK coffee too. Had dinner there too which was great. Open around 9.30 to 2 for breakfast lunch and 5 30 to 7 for dinner. Great selection of meals. Much better than greasy Joe's.
The bre hotel is a great heritage pub the hospitality is great with the publican Glen really making you feel comfortable great food and great people will be back 👌
This hotel is old and in need of an update however it is clean and comfortable. This and the friendliness and service of/from mine hosts, together with the size and quality of the meals makes for a great stay. Highly recommend.
