We visited B&O's last night after about a year off because past experiences were not great. We heard a new chef was recently hired and so thought 'lets give it a try'. The mussels and sauce were to die for. My sandwich was really good and the fries were super. The salad we ordered was supposed to have grilled shrimp. When it came out it wasnt close to what one would expect when ordering grilled said. The chef came out to talk about it. Wisconsin Beef Council voted One of the best 8 Burgers in the State of Wisconsin...it was as good or better than the Dump Burger that was voted #1. My 2 cents!
This place has great reviews and was packed with customers this Saturday. I was eager to give it a try, but unfortunately, it fell short of my hopes. Everything tasted like Friday's fish fry, only we didn't order fish. The old grease really stole the flavors. The wings were very soggy and disappointing. On a positive note (because writing bad reviews makes me feel bad) , the staff was friendly and the place was clean.
Great food and service! Took off a few stars for the noise level for our visit. Sound panels on the ceiling and other areas would improve the overall atmosphere!
