I had an out patient robotically assisted inguinal hernia repair two and a half weeks ago at Dupont hospital performed by Dr Brett Guinn. He was recommended to me by an acquaintance of mine who is a physician in the Fort Wayne area so I was confident in his ability. I am very happy with the results of the surgery. Office staff and nurses were so nice and helpful. Dr Guinn has a very great personality and explained my test to me so I could understand them. I would go back to him if necessary.
At first I thought he would be a good Dr but during/after surgery I feel he wasn’t even listening to me as the surgery wasn’t a success he just wanted to get me out asap! Told me to come back in 3 months if I still have issues. I have issues more now than before. It was supposed to be a minor surgery with no aesthetic Once he got in there, it was something completely different. He said I had double lumbar hernias, but instead of rescheduling, and And getting me an anesthesiologist continued without any pain meds or sedation.... read more
