I met with Dr. Barlow today and he was a very professional, thorough, & knowledgeable Dr. he was a young doctor that is up to date on the newest developments from being a fellow at UAB medical. I really got a good impression of him and I am thankful to have a local doctor instead of having to travel all the way to Birmingham for the same expertise.
Dr. Barlow is an exceptional oncologist. The same can be said about his staff, especially the ones in the treatment area. He always reviewed the lab work ups/scans and was willing to spend the necessary time going over the results, including answering any questions I had. He was also willing to make the necessary adjustments to the chemo treatment based on my physical condition without jeopardizing the overall results.
