Can't not speak on the billing aspect of it.but from the moment I went in til the time I got in the car , the staff was amazing front desk nurses doctors recovery nurses were so nice had surgery 3/14/2025
$14k for a traditional colonoscopy. That is what I was billed. That is not the anesthesiologist or doctor. That is just for a 15 minute procedure there….. was I scammed??? My portion to max out my deductible is $6k. Insanity! Anyone know if I can challenge it?
Dr. Davenport and his associates at the Brentwood Surgery Center are about the greediest bunch of practitioners I have ever come across. They use faulty billing practices, give you the runaround and then send you to collections for their own faulty billing practices. Avoid him and Brentwood Surgery Center at all costs
I could copy and paste a few of the other five star reviews, but where's the fun in that? Also, where is the fun in having a colonoscopy done? Nowhere! Especially since I was soooo not looking forward to it. But I sure am glad that I had my first one ever at this facility, which is outstanding inside and out. Not trustworthy! Went in as self pay because at the time I did not have insurance. Was advised self pay procedures are to be paid in full up front. Ok, it was $1476.75, not bad. I had a 5 minute procedure for my esophagus and was paid up and good to go! I get a bill for $10,000!!! What!? I called and was told it was a mistake on their part and they didn’t “apply the self pay discount “ which in its own is alarming, but I was grateful and they said I had a zero balance….
